Hoytes Transportation LLC provides box truck freight for Elwood, IN from 6901 Nottingham Lane, McCordsville, IN 46055.

Elwood sits on the Historic Madison County manufacturing city on SR-28 — denser shop and retail docks than Frankton, with northbound freight toward Alexandria and Grant County. Primary highway access includes SR-28 east–west, SR-37 north–south, SR-13 south toward Frankton, I-69 via Anderson then north Madison connectors. Typical shipper needs: machine-shop and MRO crates, downtown retail restock, multi-family renovation freight, north Madison institutional supply.

Local angle: Elwood shops and SR-28 retailers book Hoytes when MRO and retail crates need enclosed protection sequenced north of Anderson — confirmed capacity, not a load-board gamble.

Elwood still carries a manufacturing footprint on SR-28 — shop docks and MRO crates sit alongside downtown retail that prefers box trucks to full trailers on narrow streets.

Dispatch usually approaches from Anderson north after clearing Frankton, then decides whether Alexandria or Gas City is the afternoon continuation based on dims and windows.

Forklift-capable shop docks and ground-unload storefronts both appear on the same day; spell out equipment needs when you Call or Text.

Teams that already move Anderson freight with Hoytes extend into Elwood when they need one USDOT-listed carrier for the SR-28 manufacturing pocket.
