Why MRO freight is not a trailer load
Hoytes Transportation LLC delivers maintenance, repair, and operations parts for Indiana plants.
MRO freight is awkward in a useful way: a motor, a carton of filters, a crate of components, sometimes all on one bill. It rarely fills a 53-foot trailer, and the receiving door is often a maintenance shop rather than a high-volume dock.
Hoytes runs that freight in an enclosed box truck from McCordsville. Central Indiana plants are the core. Kokomo, Columbus, Richmond, and Fort Wayne are scheduled when the part cannot wait for a consolidation trailer.
We do not haul machines that need a flatbed, a crane, or permits. If the skid is heavier or taller than a standard box truck can take, we will say so before dispatch instead of damaging a dock.
Put the plant gate, the PPE rule, and the maintenance-shop door on the request. A corporate dock and a back shop are not the same address even when they share a street.
